(hereinafter referred to as “SUMMIT”), we want to assure you that we take all aspects of privacy seriously, including but not limited to any and all information between us that is: personal, corporate, or any other type of information that is passed between us or otherwise shared.

1 WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO.

SUMMIT is an incorporated, duly licensed, and registered entity, engaged in the lawful business of providing property management and related services, and to assist the said entities in becoming and operating a SUMMIT franchise (as detailed in the Franchise Agreement between the parties if/when such an agreement exists.

SUMMIT may collect or come into possession, through normal operations of the business, information that may include:

  • Personal information[1] such as: name, postal address, phone numbers, e-mail addresses, or other contact information;
  • Financial information, credit information, payment history, banking information;
  • Demographic information such as preferences, interests, and race, religion, gender, or other such information;
  • Information collected through the SUMMIT website;
  • Printed information, training information, business information;
  • Franchise information, information regarding operations or the provision of services;
  • Identification, passports, driver’s licenses, corporate registry information;
  • Any and all corporate information regarding your company’s ownership, affiliates, owned subsidiaries, or other associate structures;
  • Information regarding your history, curriculum vitae, education, employment history, relationships with, or for, professional memberships and associations;
  • And any other information that you may supply.

3 HOW SUMMIT OBTAINS YOUR INFORMATION.

SUMMIT may collect or come into possession of various aspects of your information in a variety of ways, including but not limited to:

  • In instances where you provide the information to us directly through our normal relations and workings;
  • Information you provide to SUMMIT via applications, questionnaires, various forms you may complete and submit, e-mail correspondence, or in person (verbal);

  • And from publicly available open sources of information such as information that may be found on the World Wide Web.

4 HOW SUMMIT USES YOUR INFORMATION.

SUMMIT uses your information generally as provided for by law under EU data protection outlines and restrictions. And:

  • For contract performance, where the information is used by SUMMIT to perform our services as you may request and under your instructions or contract requirements, or in instances where SUMMIT believes, in good faith, that it is proper, legal, and ethical to release such information;

  • Where SUMMIT has some legal requirement to use the information to accomplish a legitimate function, such as a registration or filing, etc.;

We may also share your information within the SUMMIT organization with our employees and subcontractors as may be required from time-to-time to carryout various legitimate responsibilities and tasks.

6 HOW LONG DOES SUMMIT KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

SUMMIT maintains the information as long as required to meet the obligations between the parties.

Some information may be kept longer to comply with regulatory requirements, if any. Our retention periods are also based on our business needs and good business practices.

7 HOW SUMMIT PROTECTS YOUR INFORMATION.

SUMMIT employs reasonable efforts to protect your data, including the use of physical protection, various electronic protection software, the vetting of our staff that handle your information, passwords and other protective measures to isolate computer system access, but SUMMIT cannot guarantee any information carried on, or transmitted by or over the Internet. In such instances, SUMMIT relies on the privacy measures and protections provided by various third-party service providers.

SUMMIT’s Privacy Terms and Conditions may be changed or updated from time-to-time, and such alterations will be shown on our Website which contains such information.
